3 Ingredient Crockpot BBQ Chicken Wings

Ingredients
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 tablespoon paprika
1 teaspoon dry mustard
1 teaspoon freshly ground cumin
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
4 pounds (2 kg) chicken wings,trimmed
1½ cups (370 ml) barbecue sauce,divided
cooking spray

Method
Step 1
In a mixing bowl,combine sugar, paprika, mustard, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
Step 2
Place dry mixture in large plastic zip-lock bag. Place chicken wings in zip-lock bag and shake well to coat with dry mixture. Pour ½ cup (125 ml) of the barbecue sauce over chicken and stir well to coat.
Step 3
Transfer spiced chicken wings in slow cooker. Cover slow cooker and cook on low-heat setting for 3-4 hours or until chicken wings are tender.
Step 4
Remove cooked chicken wings from slow cooker. Position oven rack 10 inches(25 cm) from broiler element and heat on high. Place a wire cooling rack on an aluminum foil-lined rimmed baking sheet and lightly grease the wire rack with cooking spray.
